Tahoe SAFE Alliance is 501 c 3 non-profit agency that collaborates with local businesses, government agencies, volunteers, and supporters to create violence free communities.  We are currently the only agency providing assistance to survivors of intimate partner/domestic violence and sexual violence in the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee region of California and Nevada and owns/operates the only safe house in the community. All services are free of charge and provided in both English and Spanish.

Recent incidents of domestic violence in the NFL have vaulted this crime to national headline status.  Tahoe SAFE Alliance challenges the NFL to leverage its public platform to demonstrate leadership when setting domestic violence policies that other sports franchises, businesses, and industry can adopt and model. This includes providing progressive, comprehensive, and on-going education to teach players about healthy relationships and information on ending violence against women.  You can read the full statement here.
