3rd Annual Father Daughter Dance (February 10, 2012) (visit page)
For the first time, Tahoe SAFE Alliance is accepting sponsorships for this wildly successful and well attended event. The Father Daughter Dance was originally spearheaded by a group of local mom’s that wanted to celebrate the special bond between their daughters and their fathers. This event promotes healthy relationships and is a catalyst for showing little girls the importance of being treated with love and respect. Sponsorship levels start at $100.
The Father Daughter Dance will be held at Tahoe Biltmore. Click here.
V-Day–Vagina Monologues (March 9 & 10, 2012) (visit page)
For the first time since 2008, Tahoe SAFE Alliance will bring back Eve Ensler’s critically acclaimed play The Vagina Monologues for the enjoyment of our community! This two-night play will be performed on Friday, March 9th and Saturday, March 10th to help the agency bring awareness locally about the need to end violence against women and girls. Theater productions have long been an important part of Tahoe SAFE Alliance’s community outreach and education efforts and this year is no different. Be a part of the movement to end sexual assault against women, men and children. Sponsorship levels start at $100.
The Vagina Monologues will be held at the Community Arts Center in Truckee (old Rec Center). Click here.
