Tahoe SAFE Alliance launched the community’s first Transitional Housing Program in July 1, 2011. Often referred to as second-stage housing, it offers living assistance including rent, utilities, food and basic needs for up to 10 months.
The Transitional Housing Program is an extension of the Mt. Rose Safe House and is only available to qualified individuals. Residents will have access to case management, counseling and support groups, and educational classes.
