Tweens and teens are experiencing disturbing levels of violence in their dating relationships, but only half recognize the warning signs of a dangerous relationship.

Abuse in a dating relationship can be confusing and frightening at any age. But for teenagers, who are just beginning to date and develop romantic relationships, this abuse is especially difficult.

When the abuse is physical or sexual, it can be easy to identify. Emotional abuse is much harder to recognize, but no less damaging.

Teen dating violence is any type of physical, sexual, emotional abuse or controlling behavior including extreme jealousy, constant texting, and cyber stalking.  If you or someone you know is in a dangerous relationship please call our hotline at 800-736-1060.

Please help us raise awareness about teen dating violence in our community.  February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.  Donate, Volunteer or host an event!   Please email for information on how to get involved.
